Early versions of Discord don't use the same build number system as the newer ones and at the moment are treated separately.
Compatibility notes
- Logging in with two-factor authentication does not work prior to 2016-06 and WebAuthn does not work prior to build 147287 (2022-09-16). Please log in using a newer version and switch back if you have 2FA on, and be sure you set up TOTP before WebAuthn so you can use TOTP as a fallback.
- Builds prior to 2016-07 use older versions of the Discord API (Before API v6), which has poorer compatibility with Litecord. Build 2015-06 has some client modifications that allow server channels to work.
- The build 2017-06 has broken DMs.
- Some builds from October 2017 to May 2018 do not have all chunks archived. This can result in hit-or-miss functionality when loading initially or loading new parts of the UI. A plain grey loading screen is usually caused by missing chunks, but the console will confirm it for sure.
- Many older builds are problematic when you are in servers that contain newer types of channels (Forums, Announcements, Stage, etc). Many of the newer channels will be cloaked to be normal text/voice channels if using APIs before v9, but Announcement channels can break some older versions that use API v6.
